12×12 is an annual visual arts festival curated by the São Vicente Parish Council at the Santa Clara Market in Lisbon. This festival is an open group show focused on exhibiting and promoting new artists. It aims to give them the opportunity to show their artworks and experimentations on an equal footing, using a square format as the common canvas.

My work consists of a series of four square compositions in different sizes, each experimenting with geometric shapes, brushstrokes, and framing formats. Two of the works are the same size and are painted using cool and warm colours. The smallest piece uses a neutral palette, while the largest contains a wide range of colours.
